Russell Scott (CEO, Creative Director) and Patrick Young (President)
Russell Scott and Patrick Young have created original content for multiple platforms since 1999. Their first production, Yesterdayland, was a multiplatform destination website resulting in a partnership with Danny DeVito’s Jersey Films. They created and sold a show to VH-1 called “Pop Rocks,” which, along with the celebrity interview component of Yesterdayland, was the primary inspiration for VH-1′s “I Love the 80s” franchise.
Russell Scott worked with Sid and Marty Krofft to develop a feature update for their beloved “Bugaloos” franchise, and also worked with TVLand to develop a fictitious Biography series based on iconic TV characters.
They have developed original scripted content for Steve Martin, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Michael Cera, Zac Efron, Kevin James, Ally Larder, Bill Hader and Anna Faris, among others, for transmedia projects in support of feature films.
Scott and Young have been Judd Apatow’s digital collaborators since his meteoric rise with “The 40 Year Old Virgin,” and their creative agency, Jetset Studios, is featured in “Knocked Up.”
They are currently developing transmedia properties such as the animated series “The Velvet Mouse Show,” and the live action sitcom “Retroland,” based on their awkward and hilarious experiences creating the Yesterdayland project.
