We’re creating a series of original content pieces that extend the character of Ted into the real world, letting fans in on Ted’s backstory and his hilarious regression from adorably stuffed childhood star to fallen icon to the obnoxiously crass and emotionally stunted best friend of Mark Wahlberg’s character, John Bennett.

For Tom and Violet’s Wedding Blog, Jetset Studios produced a deep roll-out of original content that extends the story of “The Five-Year Engagement,” and gets people emotionally involved in the characters before they see the film through in-character posts (and video blog posts featuring star Jason Segel), comments and other original content presented as the lead-in to the film’s release in theaters on April 27, 2012.

In Being Bridesmaids, the user is invited to re-cast the archetypal characters in the film — the Blushing Bride, the Maid of Dishonor, the Innocent One, a Real Mother, Little Miss Perfect and the Wild Card — with Facebook friends and uploads from their computer. The result literally puts you and your friends in the movie in an outrageous and hilarious way.
